We Can't Lose For Winning

And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.

When we are in relationship with God we have a promise that all things will work together for our good.

No matter what.

It will work together for our good.

Unfortunately, making a decision to enter into relationship with God through Jesus Christ, has been misunderstood.

It has been misunderstood that a life with God is a life without trouble, and that is not true.

Truth is....

Many hardships and perplexing circumstances confront the righteous, But the Lord rescues him from them all. Psalms 34:18 (AMP)

As Christians, the promise is not to live a life void of hard times.

The promise is that we will always be rescued.

We don't get to personally design the details of the rescue, but we can expect the Lord to rescue us, and that it will work together for our good.

God has been faithful to His promises in every difficult situation in my life.

When my father died....it worked for my good.

I experienced a peace that my mind could not comprehend. A peace that comforted me as I delivered his eulogy.

When my son was a victim of child abuse at the hands of another...it worked for my good.

I experienced the strength that comes from grace. His grace was sufficient for me when the request of my heart, was for my reality to fade away like a bad dream. It was that same grace that led me into intercession, on the behalf of the one responsible for my child's pain.

When I was raped.... it worked for my good.

I received a new revelation of the power of forgiveness. The same forgiveness I extended is the same forgiveness I need from my heavenly father. The sin committed against me was not greater than the sins I have committed.

I have never raised my hand to volunteer for my trials, but I am so very grateful for the treasure I gained from each of them.

The treasure I gained was God's promise to work everything together for my good.

I know by experience, that God is a God of peace, grace, and forgiveness.

Regardless of what it feels like, God always has our best interest at heart.

Nothing we experience will be wasted.

Although we may experience difficult situations, it will work together for our good.

We can trust Him.

He has a perfect plan for us.

We cannot lose because we are victorious in Him.

We can't lose for winning.

but thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
